Artist's Description
While in Guatemala, I was able to capture an image of the Festival of Floating Umbrellas for the feast of November 1st, All Saints Day. On the shores of Lake Atitlan, the Maya village of San Juan la Laguna is known for its indigenous art collectives and Mayan craft shops. With terrific lake views, steep hills all around and the looming volcanoes towering nearby, it is unforgettable. How I would love to go back!
