Description

A reflection of the sea, bright blue paint is frequently used in Morocco, especially along the Mediterranean. Here I am in the coastal town of Essaouira. This custom dates back to the 15th century when Morocco saw a large influx of Jews escaping the Spanish Inquisition. The color was said to remind them of heaven and God.. The repetition of the color and the arrangement of the boats drew my eye to taking this image.
